Crash Delay is about three heads, formerly known by the name of several pseudonyms in the Hip Hop scene. As you know, the world keeps turning… Last but not least, they became the real coolness! What a moment, it’s called the monotony, the victory over suns, “the life after death” like our homie Notorious Big already said!

So, from the puberty over Hip Hop into the present, Crash Delay aka JAUSS, FU & M.A. is about friendship, fun, party and electronic music, influenced by everything in this universe that’s alive or not. Even by creatures like fruit flies, late night human beings or old school disco sounds till minimal acid stuff!

Besides of this crash, FU plays bass with several bands like Division Kent, Peer Seemann, etc. and JAUSS & M.A. spin records in underground locations, clubs and of course at home.

The Hamam EP is their first electronic music output with a coproduction with LEXX and a remix by SAMIM & MICHAL, known for their Tuning Spork Releases.

Both A1 Tanzwut Master Mix and A2 Tanzwut Dirty Root Edit will hit your crowd. While the hypnotic triplet bassline and reverse hihats will move you outta space, your body goes for the beat discharging in a powerful break of the track.

B1 Tanzwut Serafin & Cosili Remix fully turns Tanzwut around to an infatuating minimal beauty for early mornings outdoors while the sun raises. It goes from shiny dub to psychodelic bells and brings you back on the beach again with a smile.

Behind the pseudonym ‘Wandler’ we find 29-year old Michael Stutz. The initial impulse for his work as a musician can be found in his childhood, while he now succumbs to the fascination for the cool and static sound of Wave and EBM.

In 1993 he raises ‘mist’, a project which was evolving from a live solo set to a 4-track mix tape. Amplified with a drummer in 1998, the new collaboration leads to gigs in Switzerland, Germany and France and the release of an EP and a longplayer on Polymorph Records.

Dj-ing for almost a decade in the year 2000, he starts spinning records under the pseudonym ‘Wandler’ all over the country.

The artist project ‘Wandler’ develops from studio sessions in 2001 to live gigs in 2004 after a 3-year studio period. Today, Wandler forms an integral part of Zurich’s always active elektronika scene by contributing various performances and having a tremendous positive feedback on dancefloors throughout Switzerland.

Dass in Zürich selten die Ravelichter ausgehen, weiss jeder, der mal mit guter Laune bewaffnet durch das Züricher Nachtleben getobt ist. Im Schatten der exzessiven Partys hat sich mittlerweile ein sehr produktives Netzwerk um Label wie Bruchstüke oder Stattmusik gebildet.

Die Labeldichte Zürichs dürfte wohl bald ähnliche Ausmasse wie die von Berlin oder Köln annehmen. Auf dem zweiten Release von Little Big Recordings debütiert Hardwarefetischist Daniel Rizzo mit drei wunderbaren Tracks. Warm und ananlog schäppert Antifalten angenehm melodiös, sanft kickend durch die Kalotten. Auch Creme legt einen einfühlsamen Groove an den Tag, der dennoch mit einem klar zu verstehenden Off-Beat zeigt wo es lang geht. Tech-House für Feinschmecker auch auf der B-Seite. Microglyven zunächst im rockenden Re-Edit von Dreck Labelhead Secondo, bevor Rizzo erneut seine analogen Klopfgeister zu minimalen Tanzspielereien an die Hand nimmt. Gelungen. poll *****
